SCC approves draft response to Sultan Al Qasimi speech

The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) has approved a draft during its third meeting of the first regular session of the eleventh legislative chapter. This draft was submitted by a committee formed to respond to a speech made by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, during the opening session of the council.

Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman, Chairman of Sharjah Ruler's Office, witnessed, Friday afternoon, the launch of the ninth Sharjah International Cycling Tour in its first stage, from in front of Sharjah Fort and Kalba Fort, a distance of 134.46 kilometers.
All arrangements have been completed for the launch of the major international event, which will be held in 5 stages over a distance of 503 km and will be accompanied by a local youth tour and a special race for people with disabilities.

Dubai to benefit from record 349 business event wins in 2023

Dubai further consolidated its status as a central hub for international business events in 2023, with the city winning a record 349 bids to host international conferences, congresses, meetings, and incentive travel programmes.

Driven by Dubai Business Events (DBE), the city's official convention bureau, the wins reflected a robust 49% increase in successful bids compared to 2022. These events captured in 2023 are set to attract over 191,000 international delegates.
