The camel race challenges at Al Dhaid Camel Racecourse, organized by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, have gained significant momentum this morning, Saturday, September 30. The event has seen a great turnout from camel owners belonging to various UAE tribes and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, has confirmed the widespread participation in the challenges for three-year-old camels today. He emphasized the keenness of camel owners to participate annually in all races organized by the club. This demonstrates the evident progress among participants, which can be attributed to the wise leadership’s attention to the sport of camel racing and the support provided by the UAE Camel Federation. The federation aims to equip the people of the region with the necessary experience and skills to effectively handle camels.
