Rubu Qarn Science and Technology launches ‘Nawah’ program

The Rubu Qarn Science and Technology, affiliated with the Rubu Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, launched th ‘’Nawah”, an innovative program in advanced science and technology. This exceptional initiative aims to empower the forthcoming generation and facilitate a notable advancement in Sharjah’s scientific and technical domain.
The “Nawah” program is designed for 60 participants from Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies, and high school students in Sharjah. It aims to identify and nurture participants’ interest in science and technology and enhance their creative abilities.

The program, hosted at the headquarters of the RQ Science and Technology Centre within the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in eight prominent domains, encompassing artificial intelligence, sustainability and energy, robotics, the Internet of Things, and synthetic biology.

The centre emphasises the importance of its role in supporting future generations of innovators. This is achieved through the “Nawah” program, which provides participants with the opportunity to acquire 12 specific skills. These skills include presentation skills, accepting constructive criticism, project management, critical thinking, and creativity in problem-solving.

Nawah also provides many benefits to participants, such as inspiring discussion sessions with a group of experts and interactive external visits to international companies. These give them the opportunity to learn about vital sectors and professional opportunities for success, leadership, and influence.

The program aims to shape the early career ambitions of participants in the fields of advanced science and technology by providing opportunities to explore, understand and envision them, to build a new generation of leaders who positively influence the future of technology and innovation in society, in addition to promoting a culture of collaborative excellence, with an emphasis on the role of teamwork in achieving scientific and technological progress.
