Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production adopts best practices in implementing Dairy Farm Project

The Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production EST, which is affiliated with the Department Of Agriculture And Livestock in Sharjah (SDAL), has announced its contract with the German company, (GEA), to provide advanced global machinery and equipment for use in dairy extraction as part of the “Dairy Project”.

This project is considered one of the most important and newest food projects exclusive to the emirate of Sharjah on a global scale. The Foundation is responsible for its implementation.

In this regard, Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Director of Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production EST, Head of the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL), affirmed that the Production EST continues its intensive efforts to accomplish and launch this unique project. It reflects the directions and strategy of the Sharjah government under the leadership of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

This project aims to enhance biosecurity, sustainable food security, and improve the efficient and prudent use of resources in Sharjah. It also contributes to providing a safe and healthy life for all citizens and residents by developing comprehensive agricultural and livestock wealth, expanding the use of modern and advanced technology, and adopting sustainable agricultural and livestock practices. Strategic partnerships are being formed with government and private sector institutions in this field.

The Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production EST has taken important steps in the implementation stages of the “Dairy Project”, relying on international expertise. This includes contracting with the German company GEA, which is one of the leading global companies in supplying specialized systems in the livestock food sectors and other sectors. Their portfolio includes multiple factories for manufacturing advanced equipment and machinery, as well as providing technological systems for managing food projects, including production and livestock wealth projects such as dairy. This also includes dairy extraction equipment such as sensing devices, dairy processing equipment, control units, milk measurement devices, and more.
