UAE issues Apple security alert, urges residents to update devices

The Cyber Security Council of the United Arab Emirates has released a notification regarding the identification of security vulnerabilities present in specific Apple devices.
In a communication posted on X, previously known as Twitter, the aforementioned authority disclosed the discovery of three security vulnerabilities within a selection of Apple products.
The notification explicitly stated, “We have identified three security vulnerabilities affecting Apple products, specifically targeting iPhone 8 and subsequent models, iPad Mini 5th generation and newer iterations, macOS Monterey and later versions on Mac devices, as well as Apple Watch from version 4 and onwards.”
In light of these findings, the authority has urged residents to promptly update their Apple devices in order to ensure comprehensive protection.
