President Sheikh Mohamed received US Senator from Iowa Joni Ernst on Friday at Al Shati Palace, where they engaged in discussions regarding the promotion of development and stability in the Middle East. The meeting primarily focused on strategies to strengthen the alliance between the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Ms. Ernst expressed her gratitude for the Emirates’ role in supporting regional and international security, and emphasized the United States’ eagerness to enhance cooperation. In addition to President Sheikh Mohamed and Senator Ernst, the meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, Adviser for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to the US, along with the accompanying delegation of Ms. Ernst.
