The upcoming seventh iteration of the Dubai Fitness Challenge is set to commence on October 28 and will run for a duration of 30 days, concluding on November 26. While various fitness facilities and temporary fitness “villages” will provide complimentary or subsidized sessions, the fundamental premise of the DFC is to dedicate 30 minutes each day to exercise, regardless of the type of workout, for a period of 30 days. Experts suggest that regular half-hour fitness sessions can contribute to long-term physical and mental health. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, initiated the Dubai Fitness Challenge to promote healthier and more active lifestyles. The DFC is also an ideal starting point for beginners and those seeking to resume their fitness regimen. Adequate rest, optimum hydration, and nutritious foods that fuel the body are additional parameters that will benefit the new exercise routine. The Dubai Ride and Dubai Run, scheduled for November 12 and November 26, respectively, are other significant dates announced on Sunday, providing fitness enthusiasts with the opportunity to cycle or jog on Dubai’s arterial Sheikh Zayed Road.
