TWMCC Chairman participates in 19th World Islamic Forum in Moscow

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), participated in the 19th World Islamic Forum, taking place in Moscow under the theme “Role of Religious Leaders in Protecting Spiritual and Moral Values and Promoting Peace and Security”.

The Forum featured the participation of an elite group of religious, cultural and community leaders.

In his speech during the Forum, Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasised the importance of religious leaders and their need to keep pace with modern changes, confront contemporary challenges with modern methods, be accepted and influence the current and future generations.

TWMCC Chairman also stressed the necessity of expanding the circle of values that we must preserve and develop, the most important of which are the values of citizenship and respect for the law, to protect generations from other values that could brainwash them.

Held by the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Forum is running until 13th December, with huge participation from religious leaders from around the world, to emphasise their significant role in preserving and strengthening peace in the modern era and protecting spiritual and moral values, as well as the religious situation in the era of globalisation, and the analysis of the challenges and contemporary trends.

TWMCC is an international non-governmental organisation and a think tank to help organisations and associations working in Muslim communities, renew their thinking, improve their performance, and coordinate their joint work.
