ABU DHABI, August 30, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club (ADAC) and National Ambulance, a division of the National Guard Command, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting CPR training, emergency response, and injury prevention in aquatic environments throughout the UAE.
This strategic partnership, spanning three years, reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to enhance public education on emergency medical response and injury prevention.
The MoU outlines a comprehensive collaboration that harnesses the expertise and resources of both parties to address critical areas of mutual interest, including emergency medical response, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, and water safety education.
The partnership aims to pioneer innovative initiatives that will improve the well-being of individuals and the broader community.
Humaid Al Hooti, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club, expressed his delight in embarking on this journey with National Ambulance, an esteemed organization that shares their commitment to public safety and health. Over the next three years, ADAC and National Ambulance will closely collaborate on the development and implementation of diverse activities. These include Heartsaver Month events, impactful campaigns, emergency drills, and educational workshops.
