SIH participates in Thessaloniki International Book Fair

The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) is participating in the Sharjah Pavilion at the twentieth edition of the Thessaloniki International Book Fair in Greece, which is taking place from 16th to 19th May.

Sharjah is the first Arab honorary guest at the fair and is making a notable presence through the Sharjah Book Authority and several of its cultural and academic institutions.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the allocation of an AED2.5 million for the buying of the latest titles from participating publishers and booksellers at the ongoing 15th annual Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF 2024), to update and further enrich the Sharjah Public Library.
