H.H. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) today commemorated the UAE Flag Day, an annual national occasion marked on November 3rd each year, to honour the flag as a symbol of unity and national pride, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to hoist the UAE flag across the UAE's federal and government buildings, reflecting the union, unity and cohesion between the nation’s people and leadership.

The world marks World Polio Day today, observed annually on 24th October. The UAE's efforts in eradicating polio and its substantial financial support for vaccination campaigns globally have been widely recognised globally.
