25th Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival concludes

The Sharjah Islamic Festival, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and organised by the Department of Culture for 40 days with the participation of artists from different countries of the world, concluded the 25th edition.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs at the Department of Culture, said that the festival reached an exceptional global appeal, thanks to the patronage of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness’s vision of the importance of the arts as a cultural aspect.

World of Coffee 2024 begins tomorrow at DWTC

The World of Coffee 2024 is set to kick off tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Organised by DXB LIVE, the integrated event management and experiential agency of DWTC, and the International Coffee Association, the premier event will take place in Za'abeel Halls 4, 5, and 6 of DWTC, with over 1,650 exhibitors and brands from 51 countries, including seven national pavilions.

Dubai Expo’s Firdaus Orchestra to perform its first full-length Arabic concert

Expo City Dubai’s all-female Firdaus Orchestra will perform its first full-length Arabic concert on Thursday to celebrate Bollywood legend A R Rahman's "year of firsts".

The orchestra, which is mentored by the Oscar-winning composer, is made up of 55 musicians from 25 countries and features string instruments from the Middle East such as the qanun and oud.

4th Dubai Ride takes over 35,000 cyclists on exhilarating bike-ride experience along Sheikh Zayed Road

This morning, the iconic Sheikh Zayed Road was transformed into a giant cycling track as part of the fourth edition of the Dubai Ride, presented by DP World. The flagship Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) event drew more than 35,000 cyclists of various ages and abilities who collectively cycled over 546,000 km, cementing its status as the largest community cycling event in the region.
