His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended on Tuesday, the inauguration of the 7th International Arabic Language Conference (IALC) organized by the Arabic Language Educational Center for the Gulf States in Sharjah in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, which is being held over two days in the University City under the title “Teaching and Learning the Arabic Language, Looking Towards The Future: Requirements, Opportunities and Challenges and under the slogan “In Arabic We Create” .

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and COP28 President, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the UAE should be very proud of its role in achieving this truly historic outcome achieved at the 28th edition of the UN Climate Change Conference.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, approved a series of transformative projects for the year 2024 as part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33.

Launched recently by His Highness, the Dubai Social Agenda 33 is inspired by the overarching theme of ‘Family: The Foundation of Our Nation’.

The UAE announced its participation in the 54th edition of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2024, which will be held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland between 15th and 19th January.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued two Emiri Decrees No. (15) of 2023 establishing the Ajman Centre for New Projects (Free Zone) and No. (1) of 2024 concerning the appointment of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi as its Chairman.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree establishing “Sharjah Digital Department”.

The Decree stipulated that a government department would be established in the Emirate of Sharjah called the “Sharjah Digital Department,” which would have the legal personality and capacity to carry out its duties.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honoured the six winners of the inaugural edition of the ‘Great Arab Minds’ Awards, during a ceremony held at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) today confirmed that none of the national airlines in the United Arab Emirates is operating any of the Boeing 737- MAX 9 aircraft, affected by the technical malfunction that occurred on a Boeing 737- MAX 9 plane operated by an American company on January 6, 2024.
