ECAE to unveil cutting-edge EdTech solutions at GITEX Global 2024

The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) will present its latest advancements in educational technology at GITEX Global 2024, the world’s largest tech event, running from 14th to 18th October in Dubai.

ECAE will demonstrate cutting-edge AI-powered tools, immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, and sustainability-driven solutions, showcasing its leadership in creating a homegrown, research-based educational ecosystem aligned with Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation strategy.

Participating in the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion under the theme, Towards an AI Native Government, ECAE will highlight how AI, VR, and Metaverse technologies are revolutionising learning. These innovations make education more interactive, personalised, and immersive, improving knowledge retention and real-world skill application. This approach equips both students and educators for a technology-driven future.

ECAE’s initiatives support the UAE’s vision of building a future-ready, AI-empowered society in line with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071 and Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030.

Visitors to the Abu Dhabi Government pavilion will explore ECAE’s wide range of educational technologies across three key clusters: Services and Experiences, Emerging Technology, and Sustainable Technology.

Notable technologies include the Digital Human Assistant and the Smart Educational Assistant Chatbot, both designed to provide personalised, real-time support. In addition, ECAE will introduce two new VR-based platforms focused on environmental responsibility and risk management, as well as a Gamified AI Learning Experience Quest, which blends AI with gamification to make learning more engaging.

Dr. May Al Taee, Vice-Chancellor of ECAE, said, “ECAE is at the forefront of leveraging innovative technologies like AI and VR to transform how we prepare educators for tomorrow’s challenges. Our participation at GITEX reflects our commitment to empowering educators with AI-driven tools, contributing to a knowledge-based society aligned with the UAE’s strategic initiatives.”

Sultan Al Ameri, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of ECAE, added, “At GITEX, ECAE will showcase pioneering educational technologies in VR, AI, and the Metaverse, offering immersive, personalised experiences that prepare future generations for a technology-driven world.”

ECAE’s showcase highlights its role as a frontrunner in educational innovation, contributing to the UAE’s ambition to cultivate a competitive, knowledge-based global economy.
