H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, stated that the 53rd Eid Al Etihad reinforces the spirit of the Union in the hearts of the people and embodies a journey marked by great sacrifices, remarkable achievements, strong will, determination, and unwavering conviction.

In a statement on the occasion of 53rd Eid Al Etihad, His Highness said, “It is a day on which we express our pride in the comprehensive renaissance achieved by the UAE, its honourable leaders, and its dear people, who have transformed it into a unique model of unity and a strong pillar.”

“The world views it with respect, appreciation, and admiration for its political, economic, scientific, and practical gains, which have placed it among the ranks of thriving human civilisations.”

His Highness explained that the UAE is currently celebrating 53rd Eid Al Etihad, an occasion to remember the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who turned the dream of unity into reality through his leadership, political will, and the vision of his founding brothers.

“Our country represents an exception in contemporary Arab history, as the most successful, cohesive, homogeneous, stable, and prosperous model,” he noted

His Highness added that the UAE, under its wise leadership, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates carry the blessed flag of the Union to build its glory, civilisation and renaissance in all fields, and achieve the aspirations and ambitions of the people of the UAE in pride, dignity, prosperity and happiness.

He pointed out that the UAE is entering the coming decades determined to be the best in various fields. “Its future will be the most advanced and brightest at all levels, drawing strength and confidence from its major development achievements and leveraging its wisdom and authentic values to write a new chapter in the book of its economic and developmental leadership across different fields.”

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla sent congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates.

He also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and the people of the UAE on this glorious occasion, praying to Allah Almighty to protect the nation and perpetuate security, safety, pride and elevation.
