The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department inaugurated Al Tarahum Mosque in Kashisha 2 area in Al Rahmaniyah suburb.
The mosque can accommodate 2,500 worshippers, men and women.

Abdullah Khalifa Yarouf Al Sabousi, Head of the Islamic Affairs Department, attended the opening ceremony, accompanied by the donor who donated to build the mosque, along with several government officials.

The attendees toured the Fatimid architectural-style mosque and were briefed on the project implementation process and its facilities.

The construction considered modern standards contributing to preserving the environment, as it operates with systems to rationalise energy and water consumption.

The mosque was built on a total land area of 11,821 square meters, including all facilities.
