H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Women’s Sports, has issued a Decree appointing Moza Mohammed Al Shamsi as the Director of Sharjah Women’s Sports, effective Monday, 1st July 2024.

This decision aims to support the advancement of women’s sports in the UAE, particularly in the Emirate of Sharjah. It also emphasises the role of Emirati women in sports at regional and international competitions, encouraging their representation on various sporting platforms.

The Decree aligns with Sheikha Jawaher’s vision of empowering women to positively impact their communities by leading national institutions that contribute to the prosperity of the Emirate.
