The Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) recently received at its headquarters a government delegation from the Republic of Iraq, with the aim of reviewing the best practices and distinctive experiences adopted by the department in the field of finance.
In addition to the delegation’s completion of the training programme “International Experiences in the Field of Modern Administration and E-Government.”
Khawla Bushalibi, Director of the Government Communications Department at the Sharjah Finance Department, received the delegation.
His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Finance Department, stressed the pride of the department and its team in the interest of the government sector in Iraq and its endeavour, through this visit, to benefit from the department’s experience, which is consistent with its institutional vision of promoting and spreading the culture of science and excellence.
His Excellency added this especially true in the field of financial culture, including public finance affairs, in a manner that translates the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
His Excellency added: “Over the past years, the department has succeeded in creating a real qualitative shift in performance, concepts, practices and financial methods applied in the government sector inside Sharjah, and launching many initiatives and projects in cooperation with its strategic partners inside and outside the country, with the aim of exchanging best practices, experiences and applications concepts between employees of the financial sector and those in charge of it in the Arab countries.”
