The Sharjah Charitable Society announced that the housing assistance it provided to its beneficiaries during the past year exceeded a financial value of 12.3 million dirhams, targeting 1,147 needy families whose assistance requests were approved.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charitable Society, said that housing assistance comes within the lump sum assistance programs that aim to provide a decent life for needy families in a way that ensures stability, pointing out that the association seeks during the coming period to achieve further improvement in the mechanism of providing maintenance and restoration assistance to the homes of needy families. By launching the “Restoration” initiative, which is an independent initiative through which the association aims to expand the base of beneficiaries of housing assistance programs.
