The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) announced the launch of a project aiming at conducting improvement review visits to nurseries in Sharjah, within the “ITQAN” programme, the first of its kind in Sharjah, in cooperation with “Childbase Partnership.”
Ziad Shatat, Director of the Continuous Improvement Department at SPEA, reported the launch of a project aiming at conducting improvement review visits to nurseries in Sharjah. The project comes within “ITQAN” programme, in cooperation with “Childbase Partnerhship,” with the aim of improving the quality of education and services provided by nurseries.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24,” Ziad Shatat explained that the programme aims to evaluate and enhance the educational and service quality in government and private nurseries in Sharjah, whereas Sharjah includes more than 140 nurseries and serve more than 7,000 children. The project will include a series of evaluation visits, during May and June. Each nursery will receive a detailed report that identifies strengths and weaknesses and presents future plans to improve performance.
Shatat added that “ITQAN” programme seeks to provide the best educational and care services for children, by setting basic standards for quality and performance in nurseries, which will benefit the academic and social growth and development of children.
