The United Arab Emirates has conducted its first meeting with Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, in the presence of Ladislav Hamran, President of Eurojust, and several senior officials from Eurojust, as well as Abdulrahman Murad Al Blooshi, Undersecretary of the International Cooperation and Legal Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Justice, and Mohamed Al Sahlawi, UAE Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Euro area international trade in goods surplus at €15.0 bn
The first estimates of euro area balance showed a €15.0 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in April 2024, compared with a deficit of €11.1 bn in April 2023, according to figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
