7th edition of Berklee Abu Dhabi’s PEARL Programme kicks off in September
The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is set to welcome musicians from the UAE and across the Middle East to the seventh edition of Berklee Abu Dhabi’s Performance Artistry & Leadership (PEARL) Programme, commencing on 9th September. Applications are open until 18th August.
Sharjah presents its heritage at TIBF
Dr. Sultan Sooud Al Qasimi, a member of the Heritage Preservation Committee in the UAE and member of the American University of Sharjah Board of Trustees, emphasised that a city’s identity extends beyond its physical heritage, cultural expressions, architectural prominence, and historical monuments.
SIH participates in Thessaloniki International Book Fair
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) is participating in the Sharjah Pavilion at the twentieth edition of the Thessaloniki International Book Fair in Greece, which is taking place from 16th to 19th May.
Sharjah is the first Arab honorary guest at the fair and is making a notable presence through the Sharjah Book Authority and several of its cultural and academic institutions.
AGDA inks strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation
The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF), to introduce collaborative initiatives aimed at boosting the UAE’s position on the global cultural and creativity map.
