In continuation of the agenda of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) in its ninth session as part of its regular proceedings in the eleventh legislative term, at its headquarters in the city of Sharjah, headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the SCC, the council discussed the policy of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority (SFRA).

Entries open for Xposure Photo Awards 2025 with two new categories
The International Photography Festival, Xposure, has announced the opening of competition for the World Photography Awards in its ninth edition for the year 2025, which includes seven existing categories in addition to two new categories - Sports Photography and the Altered Images and Artificial Intelligence.
The Xposure World Photography Awards categories span all genres of photography, including Architectural Photography, Mobile (Smartphone) Photography, Landscape Photography, Night Photography, Portraiture Photography, and Street Life Photography, in addition to the category designated for young people under the age of 18 living in the United Arab Emirates.
