The University of Dubai successfully participated in the Second Gulf Exhibition for Education and Training, which took place in Abu Dhabi under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and was organized by the “Med Point” company. The exhibition attracted over 3,000 male and female school students, as well as a select group of university students from both the country and the Arab Gulf region. With the participation of more than 30 universities and academic institutions, the exhibition served as a platform for students, particularly at the secondary level, to explore their options for universities and academic programs. Representatives from local and international universities were present to discuss students’ scientific interests and ambitions, and to address any inquiries they had. This allowed students to make informed decisions about their academic path after completing their schooling.The President of the University of Dubai emphasized the significance of organizing education fairs in the UAE, given the country’s strong academic structure and numerous prestigious higher education institutions. He highlighted the university’s commitment to participating in these exhibitions across the emirates to introduce students to its distinguished programs and give them the opportunity to choose specializations that align with their interests and prepare them for future job requirements. The University of Dubai pavilion at these fairs provides informative presentations on the university’s colleges, study system, academic and technological structure, and admission requirements for various degree programs, including engineering, information technology, business administration, and science. Additionally, the university offers partial and full scholarships to eligible students.
Students and visitors were also introduced to the new programs offered by the university as of September of this year, which include 6 new programs for the bachelor’s and master’s levels, which include the creation of 3 degrees at the bachelor’s level in the field of law, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence, and 3 new degrees at the master’s level, including science in security. Cyber and Science in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration in the specializations of “Digital Marketing, Financial Technology Management, Global Supply Chain Management and Strategic Human Capital Management.”
