The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has designated Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship.
The appointment letter stated that the decision recognises Dr. Al-Ali’s experience and contributions in training and education. The Authority highly appreciates his continuous cooperation and relentless efforts to develop the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship.
Expressing his gratitude for the appointment, Dr. Al-Ali sees it as a valuable opportunity to strengthen the synergy between Trends Research and Advisory and the Academy.
He emphasised the crucial role of collaboration between scientific research and education, citing the Academy’s exemplary adoption of best practices, advanced technologies, and digital resources to foster creativity and responsibility.
Dr. Al-Ali officially joined the Academy’s Advisory Board during its first meeting, where members discussed potential strategies for enhancing its educational programmes and initiatives.
The Advisory Board plays a pivotal role in the Academy’s governance, ensuring it fulfils its mission and objectives. The Board oversees the Academy’s overall performance and aligns its operations with national education policies and regulations.
Moreover, the Advisory Board drafts the general policies and proposes the degrees granted by the Academy, including honorary degrees and other fields of specialisation.
