TRENDS Research & Advisory and Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) signed a cooperation and partnership agreement to collaborate in research, studies, and consultancy. The aim is to improve the lives of People of Determination and empower them to achieve their full potential.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, on the sidelines of TRENDS’ bronze jubilee celebrations in the presence of officials from both institutions.
The agreement stipulates cooperation in shared research interests, exchange of experts and researchers, and organising joint activities such as conferences, symposiums, lectures, and workshops.
It also includes exchanging publications, such as books, journals, and other publications, supporting collaborative research in policy-making, and strengthening networks with local and international partners.
The Secretary-General of ZHO noted that this agreement will enhance cooperation to improve the lives of People of Determination and enable them to reach their full potential by conducting studies and research and utilising the findings of local, regional, and global research centres.
He highlighted ZHO’s efforts to sign strategic partnerships with various academic and research institutions, particularly those specialising in services devoted to People of Determination.
The CEO of TRENDS praised the efforts of the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, noting that both institutions share common visions that promote knowledge and serve an important segment of society for the betterment of the community. He added that this agreement aligns with TRENDS’ commitment to enhancing research and scientific partnerships with leading institutions and research centres locally and globally.
He emphasised that TRENDS places great importance on coordination and collaboration with community, academic, and research institutions in its pursuit to act as a bridge for knowledge exchange regionally and internationally and to participate in making the future by offering insights to tackle challenges and propose practical solutions.
