In March, Japan’s oil imports from the UAE totaled 32.77 million barrels, constituting 44.1 percent of the overall imports, as per data from the Natural Resources and Energy Agency of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
During the same period, Japan imported approximately 74.39 million barrels of oil, with Arab oil accounting for 94.7 percent, equivalent to 70.45 million barrels. These imports originated from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman.
