Written by Mohammed Al Mansouri, an Emirati author and researcher with a passion for the history and heritage of the UAE, the book details the establishment of the United Arab Emirates and explores the significance of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum’s presence in the Arab press. It documents the late founding father’s measured thinking and wise policies, while also shedding light on the prevailing conditions of that era.
The book underscores the critical role of the founding fathers and others who contributed to building a nation that has become a unique model for unity on the international stage.
The 149-page book is part of the “Pioneers of the Union” series, launched by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre to honour the UAE’s Founding Fathers and highlight extraordinary events that shaped the nation’s formation, established its foundations, and consolidated its position.
